Graphics card upgrade from gtx 680

Both are semi tempting, but I don't think gigabyte are anywhere near as accommodating after the 90 days as say evga would be? The website does say that you must go back to the retailer?

We'll stick to our 3 year warranty if you can provide a proof of purchase. But instead of dealing with OCUK you would have to deal with our RMA center directly. If you ask me I would take a new one if the difference is only £30.

That's good to hear. And IIRC your RMA centre is UK based?

Which card did you go for? Thanks for the reply!

Thanks for your help stulid also! Research begins :)

I went for the power cooler 390 model, runs much cooler then my sli 670s and so is quiet. The only con is that it isn't a great overclocker but I may have just been unlucky.

Imo not worth going for more expensive models with different cooling etc as this is only intended as a mild upgrade to tide me over till pascal otherwise I'd have gone 980ti etc.

I upgraded earlier this year from a Windforce 670 to OcUK's Infinity 970 - really good card!

Coil whine is indeed non-existant as promised, and although its not entirely passive as one fan will always be on regardless, I honestly cannot hear it over the ambient noise in my case when taking into account the system fans and my CPU cooler.

Ordered together with a passive-when-idle superflower PSU and the amount of noise reduction from my old windforce and previous PSU is absolutely insane. I think their infinity 970 still comes with free delivery included too so that's always a plus!

How does that work if you were to purchase one from here as B-Grade? Would the warranty run from the date the card was made?
