The bigger question is why can it only play on the lowest settings ?? Doesnt sound like a normal faulty card more like a software issue. Please list your PC spec.

Also please note the forum here is not actually OCUK "the company" it is a community forum linked to OCUK so addressing "from you guys" is not quite correct. OCUK employeers frequent this forum yes but if you need to direct any questions direct to OCUK then you need to post in the customer service forums. Apart from that welcome to the OCUK forum.

^ good point, if the gpu is faulty then it presumably wouldn't even work at low settings.

when you say you can only play games on low, is that due to low frame rate that it's only playable/enjoyable with low settings, or do you mean it will only run at low (and what happens? game crash, blue screen, pc reboot, etc.)?

also, what games have you tried?

Hi guys thanks for your replies , first let me apologize if i have posted in the wrong place , the games i play WOW and SWTOR if i play on high settings after a short time i lose connection to monitor only briefly then it comes back, if i keep playing on high settings it happens more frequently and occasionally i will get a big magenta square filling most of the monitor or the computer will shut down, as i say if i ply on low settings it ok this is the spec
Cheers guys

Thanks i am not very knowledgeable in this stuff, that why i came here for advice, i thought if device manager said this device is working properly it would be working i will do as you have said and report back thanks again for everyone who has replied i appreciate it

Thats ok everyone has to start somewhere, let us know how you get on with GPU-Z use it to take a screenshot too (top right of gpu-z window) and post the link.

Check drivers and maybe do a clean with ddu tool, check cable, check for malware with malware bytes. Do some haven benchmarks see what that gives you. Maybe loose pci-e cables on ur card or if modular psu check cables are in properly from it. Check gpu-z tool for temps and stuff too when gaming or msi afterburner on screen info. Maybe reseat the card. Check ur ram see if its becoming corrupt?

Just some ideas to test to get on with perhaps?

If cpu or gpu is overclocked check if its better with them at stock speeds also?

Hi here's the screenshots the 1st one is when 1st booted up 2nd is after a few hours on low settings

nothing wrong with that looks normal fan is spinning. Now on the main GPU-Z tab look on the right of the window for the "?" press this then start the test. Should open a new window with a red moving picture. Now go back to the sensor screen and leave it for about a minute then screenshot it. GPU Load should be showing >90%
