I am just wondering would I be better on a triple monitor setup with 3 GTX 670's superclocked 4Gig, or 2 GTX 680's Classified?

Also going to be playing EVERYTHING maxed out i.e Skyrim HD textures GTA IV Borderlands 2 AC3...

Ok then, I just realised 12 Gigs of VRAM, that's insane!! I'd have to buy 4 7970's to achieve that!!! JEEZO

You might even get away with 2 of those 4 GB cards.
I am pretty sure they will be faster than 2 GB 680s at that resolution.

are we playing the 'how much incorrect information can we squeeze into one thread?' game?

3 670 4gb will outperform the 2 680 4gb
3 x4gb vram = 4gb vram
the 6gb card will be buttsmacked by the 680s/670s on its own and its 6gb vram is silly

additional input: Amd 7950/7970s outperform 680s over 3 screens because they have more memory bandwidth

Which is what I said.

3 x4gb vram = 4gb vram

Which is why I suggested the 4GB GTX 670's over the 2GB GTX 680's

I think MORE SPEED was suggesting using 2 of them to be honest ;)

Which is why I linked Rusty's ATi vs nVidia across 3 screens review on my first post.

If you have information to add I am sure you could have done it a little more constructively.

I can't see any reviews of the nVidia 4 GB cards on the Internet.

As mentioned above and rustys thread. A 7950/7970 will out perform a 670 or 680 for 3 screens due to the memory bandwidth. However, 7950 best bang for buck atm
