Graphics cards / Monitor setup questions

Question for all you overclockers out there.

I'm currently looking at getting 2 of these Hanns. G monitors and a 6870. I currently have a 24" Samsung running 1920 x 1200 which I'd like to keep, but have it running portrait.

So basically what I want to know is, could I run 3 monitors like so...

___24 Sam_____25 Hanns_____25 Hanns
(1200 x 1920) (1920 x 1080) (1920 x 1080)

...off 1 6870? or alternativley could I use my existing 4870 to run the samsung and have the 6870 running the 2 25's. All the while being able to go between the screens. I would be using only the middle monitor for games.

If not this way how would I be able to achieve this set up?

Also, If 1 card will run all 3 will it considerably pull down the performance of game son the middle monitor while the others were on?

yes it will work. You will have to select the middle monitor as monitor 1 to play games on it. you can probably set up the 2 hanns g monitors as eye infinity and play games over them!

How will it work when moving from the middle to the portrait monitor?

Would it be worth running crossfire 6870s

easily. in the CCC software you can set the orintation of any of the monitors. you can set the middle one portrait while being upside down at the same time if you want.

and no, a 5850 can handle 2 monitors gaming fine and your only using 1 so a 6870 will be perfect.
