Graphics cards **WAS** not working, But OcUK sorted me out a peach!!!

Gregster I have just tried them today in a new build at my friends house his rig all arrived today and that was all setup its near identical to mine minus the motherboard.

We tested it in a few games and it eventually started doing the same thing.

I really appreciate the offer and really may take you up on it just so we can have another point of view.

Im sorry guys I have posted a couple of ranty messages I know but I have tried to be diplomatic and its got to the point where I want to headbutt a window.


The really odd thing is as I think I have pointed out to everyone is that it may be fine for half hour to an hour then it will do it. Then ill restart and it will constantly do it.

Yer, more than welcome. Not sure why OcUK are not willing to help but I am there if you need any more confirmation on them being faulty/not faulty.

Just to let you know, I am off from Monday for 2 weeks and happy to bring the wifes computer over and have a play at yours :)

I will wait for a response from OCUK as I have kind of posted an Ultimatum type message in the CS section.

If they still refuse It would be awesome to get your eyes on it too :p.

have you tried running one card at a time in each pci slot then pushing each card pretty hard with something like furmark / unigene / occt to try and determine if there is an issue at a per card basis / pci slot / power when using both cards or a particular card in a particular slot?
 
On a more practical note, gather as much evidence of them not working, in your system, in your friends system and etc. video proof of them failing in different setup will help.
 
Gutted to see the total lack of support from ocuk, hope they come through for you. Any problems in the past have generally been resolved quickly once 5ubs got involved.... Tbh I'd probably would be shopping with others companies if it wasn't for him.

Seems no matter what all I am being offered is for them to return them to the manufacturer for testing.

How is this any better than them doing the RMA themselves.

What guarantee do I have they will run better tests than OCUK? More specificlly the tests done by OCUK obviously did not bare the same results I do in daily use.

I cannot ****ing take this anymore.


The whole community has seen my posts so what chance do I have to sell it too them on the members market?!?!? Not only that but I would feel bad for potentially causing someone else aggro.

Also what happens if someone else gets the cards then they complain to the mods about me selling "Faulty" cards and then I get into **** for it? I guess at that point I can then quote OCUK's message that "They are working as intended"? and be done with it?

Pfft.
 
I'm not sure if you have any other choice at this point?
I'd be quite ****ed about it but i think i'd send them back to the manufactuer and hope they see a problem if they dont then at least you could try and sell them with a clear conscience
 
Hi guys just an update.

Got these being picked up today by DPD to go back to OCUK.

They are going to push them onto PC with a request for them to be credited.

Which will then be credited to me so I can finally do the right thing and buy another 780 Ti.........

This is will only happen of course if they find an issue with the cards... heres hoping they actually do... because god knows what I will do If I have to take delivery of these 2 useless bricks again.
