Graphics Driver & Windows Areo

I have just upgraded my graphics card to a ATI silent EAH 1GB Card

However Windows Areo doesn't work.
I was advised by a friend to update the driver. I did this, and yes, areo worked...

Then I re-started the system.

Areo was gone again.

So I installed the driver that I had previously. It came back.

Fine

BUT I DON'T WANT TO RE-INSTALL THE DRIVER EVERY TIME I START THE PC

What can i do to make the driver stay???

Someone must know how to sort this...?

If you still can't get Areo to work then make sure you are using 32bit color and not 16bit.

I'm not entirely sure where you change the color setting,but i think its a thing with the latest driver always un-installing...

Solution Found

Ok so after a 3 hour "research program" i trawled the internet, and found that windows areo is always disabled by Asus Gamer OSD Program being installed or running.

As this is a bit of software I never use, i removed it and areo is back !
