Hi Guys,
I recently upgraded my TV I use for my PC from a 32" LG 1080p LCD (connected via VGA) which I've had for a few years to a Samsung UE40EH5000 (connected via HDMI). I had a few problems with it looking like it was running a low resolution so I changed the 'Input Type' on the TV for HDMI 1 to PC and it has sorted everything out, or so I thought. Upon loading up any game it starts full screen but looks like it's running a low resolution (TV and CCC reports 1080p/60) or if I press 'Alt+Enter' while in this low res looking mode it improves the picture to how it should look but I see the task bar at the bottom and the window controls at the top so it's looking like it should but it's in a window!??
Never had a problem like this before. Was running 12.10 but have just upgraded to 12.11 beta 11 and it's made zero difference. Is there a setting I need to enable I don't know about!? First time running through HDMI so not 100% sure what the settings should be. Running Windows 8 pro x64 and card is a 7850 OC 2gb.
Cheers!
