graphics power of what to get?

My Kids laptop is in the process of dying and I want to get them a new one.

I've got a budget of upto about £650 and want to get one that is at least as powerful as I the one they have

spec

512meg
15.4" screen
Intel 3.06 ghez processor
nvidia fx 5300 card.

The I ask about graphics power is the play games on it, we are talking Sims, pippa funnel horse games etc.

Any ideas?

8400GS should be capable of those games quite easily and im pretty sure its a good bit more powerful than a FX5300 that you had before.
