or some reason this game is not running well on my pc. it was running fine until the bit on the mining planet at the start where you some back up and have to get a ship off the planet cause some ugly dude shows up (never played kotor b4 ). and when i came up the lift and met the jedi woman, performance just dropped down to about 1fps and immediatley i thought o crap my card is borked (with it being an agp his x1950 pro) but cs:s and WoW both run perfect. so i thought that maybe if i just reset my pc it will be fine. nope. so i turned everything off and down low. still nothing. so i turned my drivers up to full performance. not a thing. i am running vista 64 so any1 know what is wrong or could it just be vista? cause it was running fine for ages except with a few graphics glitches like things getting stretched.

also i keep getting graphics glitches in silent hunter 4 where the screen goes all pixelated in colours like black and red and i cant see a thing.

any help would be much appreciated

Timmy

Sounds like your cards memory is borked, or its on the way out if your getting screen corruption like pixelated squares all over, which could well be as i see in your sig you have the terrbile HIS brand, those cards have been borking in their droves since last December.

Bit of an odd post :D I assume you're talking about KOTOR 2: The Sith Lords, and your spec is as in sig. What PSU are you running, and did that part of the game ever work?

I heard HIS had a bad batch of 1950 pros but not sure if it's on AGP or PCI-E.

Was there any problem before you upgrade to Vista?

Have you tried other drivers 6.12/7.1/7.2/7.3/7.4?

Try looping 3Dmark 2006 or run the artifact scanner on ATI Tool and see if there is any problem.
