i'm having two graphics problems. hopefully they are being caused by MSI afterburner BETA 10 having problems, because ive tried doing a clean reinstall of the graphics drivers and its made no change.
the first problem is that, in low graphics usage areas, such as the menu for stalker: shadow of chernobyl, i am getting very poor framerates, sometimes as low as 7FPS. in game it will be absolutely fine giving me the normal 30-45FPS but the menus and loading screens have an incredibly low FPS compared to normal.
the second problem is MSI's on screen display. apparently my games are using 4194304 MB VRAM. as much as i would love to have a card with over 4TB VRAM, i somehow think its a problem with MSI afterburner
hopefully going back to the prefectly stable BETA 9 will solve things for me, but if it doesnt could anyone suggest any fixes for this
*edit*
insalling the older beta of MSI afterburner has solved the massive indicated memory usage, but its now saying my version of MSI afterburner will expire on january 15th. does this mean that what was beta 9 will become the standard MSI afterburner, because the beta was the only way to get video and audio recording, and beta 10 just didnt work for me, or am i going to have to reinstall it every week or so?
