I'm looking to buy a graphics tablet, but don't really know anything about them.

Obviously I'm looking at a Wacom (does any1 else even make them?) but don't know what to get. Are the cheaper models worth buying? Is it worth saving up that little bit more to ensure greater success in the long run?

To be honest, my missus has had her Wacom for a few years and it was pretty much the entry level, smallest version. She's an artist/illustrator and has given it some serious punishment over the years and it still works perfectly. She's only stopped using it recently now she has a hp Tablet PC :)

I guess it really depends on if you think you'll need the larger area of the bigger, more expensive versions?

Oh, and your sig is way too big and is breaking the rules on sizing - 400x75 max ;)
