I'm currently running an AMD Phenom Quad Core (965 3.4Ghz) and the Gigabyte 1GB Nvidia GTX460 that I built 12 months ago.
I've been noticing a bit of stuttering at higher settings (GTA 4, BF3) and I guessed the obvious upgrade would be the graphics card, I'm really wondering if its worth buying an additional 460GTX and SLIing them, I know that my power and motherboard and capable of this as I built it with this in mind last year but would it be better to do that than buy a brand new single card?

What motherboard do you have? the chances of you having a motherboard that supports SLI are slim, is it a AM3+ 990 chipset or a older AM2+ Nforce?

And it does Crossfire at 16X/4X rather than a preferred/equal 8X/8X or 16X/16X

Theres a 6950 on the Homepage of OCUK @ £200 for this weekend and sell your GTX460.
