Graphics upgrade

Hi everyone,

I looking to upgrade my graphics card so that I can play some new games on PC, as I've mostly been using my PS4 for the past couple of years.

Currently I have a AMD 5770 that I bought in 2009 which is fine for games like counter strike but nothing new!

I have a budget of around £120, I am thinking I will be better off looking for second hand rather than new?

What cards would I be able to get with that budget? and could I play Doom, Gears of War 4 and Battlefield 1 at 1080p?

If you were looking at second hand cards you might possibly be able to pick up an R9 290 for around that price, maybe a little more.

Find a used 970 imo, haggle a bit.

You should be able to pick up a GTX970 in the Members Market for that price. It would be a gigantic upgrade from a 5770.

2nd hand gtx970 will be the best £120 you've spent in terms of upgrading.
