I have been browsing the wonderful world of graphics after market coolers when I discovered that watercooling for graphics cards comes in two flavours, Full cover and just GPU. Is there much to gain from cooling the gRAM and so forth or is it just another way for companies to extract money from us for unneeded products?

i was looking more specifically at cooling for an HD2900 XT and was wondering if i could just add it to the Swiftech kit with the double rad or whether a second, triple radiator would be a good idea? (for a TJ07 case...when i eventually get all the kit that is)

no need to watercool the ram just get some ram sinks, those full cover blocks will restrict the water flow, the 2900XT produces a lot of heat so if you can fit a triple rad in the case that woul be a good choice.

given the chance I'd go back to something like a Maze4/5 it gets a bit tiresome changing full cover blocks, especially tseeing as the gfx card is the thing that tends to be changed most often.
