Graphics

This 10 year comparison isn't fair, though.
What you should also do is compare the games that are coming out on console now, with the games that came out 10 years ago for the console

Not only on consoles, but if you compare:
-Morrowind to Morrowind Overhaul 3.0;
-BF 2 to BF 3 or BF 4 (not discussing gamplay here);
-Operation Flashpoint or ArmA (whichever was 10 years ago) with ArmA3;
-Far Cry with Crysis 3;
-Stalker SoC with Stalker CoP Misery 2.x;
-Morrowind vanilla withOblivion and Skyrim;
-Tw 1 with TW 2 or even TW 3;
-Just Cause with Just Cause 2;
-Max Payne 2 with Max Payne 3;
-GTA 3 with GTA 4;
-Freelancer with Star Citizen;
etc;

you'll find that a LOT of stuff evolved over the years. Of course we do not have Crysis quality games anymore (even that one was the exception that showed how a game can be very good, mind blowing in visuals and sell well), but that is also due to our (PC community) constant cryings: ooo, where is my XP support, why only DX10/11 or above, why the high requirements (and then the opposite)why only this dated visuals, I want more!!!!

Anyway, time is passing and the PC platform will continue to evolve. This will be the next "3D" jump - http://www.dsogaming.com/videotrail...owcased-with-oculus-rift-razer-hydra-support/

The only "problem" may be nVIDIA with it's proprietary technologies. :confused:

There may not be that much difference graphically these days but playing on 120hz monitor @ 120fps is an absolute dream to play and cannot be compared with any console game.

With most console games running at sub 30fps and with the next gen probably aiming for the same there is no competition when it comes to fluidity and gameplay. The difference between the two is night and day.
