About 3-4 weeks ago now we had our lawn relaid by a company, when the guy put it down he told us give it plenty of water but don't cut it for at least 3 weeks.

though nothing of this and after 3 weeks proceeded to cut it, wasn't too impress with the quality after the cut, but decided to give it another week or so to see if it improved.

So far nothing, it still looks poor especially for what we paid so we've phoned the company up to try and get them to look at it. They promised to send someone out this Monday or Tuesday.

Phoned again today to see when they were coming and got through to a woman who is supposedly in charge. Explained the situation and she basically just snapped at me saying there's nothing wrong with the turf they supply and it must be me. explained that I followed the guys instruction to the letter i.e. water well and don't cut for 3 weeks. again she immediately snapped back saying I was talking rubbish and it should be cut within 7 days.

after another few mins explaining that it was her guys who told me 3 weeks she slammed the phone down.

So what's the next step? I want some £££ for this mess so who do I have to call to get up with bitch's arse ?

Write a horrible letter explaining the problem and also how very unimpressed you were with the customer service?

trust me there not a big company and if the letter wen't through her which it'll probably will it'll be straight into the bin / shredder.

thanks all will start with the letter and go from there see what response.

There's bits where its very very thin almost small patch's, nothing like a freshly laid lawn should be like. I've seen football pitches look better after a match.

this is what it looked like when just laid

naww the gaps a random and over quite an area when you look close.

Yep plenty of water sprinkler going for a few hours or so each time but not to the extent of drowning it.

Put quite a bit of turf down on the fronts in patches and thats taken fine every time, nothing as bad as this.
