How much shorter is this game than the first GRAW? I don't have online so would it still be worth it to buy this game? I loved the first one, especially the feeling I got in one of the last missions where you're walking past a lot of allied soldiers and they're all whispering "That's him!" and I'm like yeaaa

It's around 6 hours, but for me the campaign was brilliant, incredibly cinematic (far more than the first one) with one of the best soundtracks to date. GRAW2 was always made for multiplayer, but it does have a solid and very, very enjoyable single-player.

As I've said in the past, I'd rather play an excellent 6 hours SP game than an averagely good 20 hour game. GRAW2 definitely falls into the former catagory.

Hazarding a guess but 10 hours for the original? Half that for GRAW2. To be honest, GRAW2 was the right length for me as I was starting to get a bit bored at the end. It's better than GRAW though with the new cam controls - they should have just done this as a downloadable expansion pack for half price.

I haven't really got into GRAW at all, but I want to complete it, just not really finding it very fun, more frustrating than anything.

Done up to and including, Secure US tanks on Normal and Neutralize rebel outpost on Hard.

Use the cheat finish it in 5 minutes ;)

I agree with Nokkons comments, I still enjoyed it. Was tad easy even on hard for my liking but I bought it for the MP anyway.

GRAW 1 took me about 15 hours, Graw 2 about 5-6 hours.

Could that be because when you played GRAW the first time you were a noob and now you are a veteran? Therefore making the sequal appear easier than the original where it is not?

I wouldn't know I haven't played much of GRAW2 tbh.

I'd say GRAW2 was easier - the improved CrossCom camera system makes it less likely you will end up dead. Your teammates have improved AI and you get to play with new toys like helicopters.

It is quiote short, but so was gears of war. Absolutely brilliant game, dont let its being quite short put you off, its a lot more fun than most games ive played on a console.

Dont get the PS3 version though, bad frame rates and crap graphics in comparison to the 360s version.

I think I would still struggle doing the campaign in Graw 1. Sections in Graw 1 had snipers in the dark that would pick you off as soon as you stepped round the corner. Or the one on the water tower. One of the levels near the end where you have to clear the station is a pig.

Nothing comes remotely close to that hard in graw2. You can walk out in plain view of a sniper even on hard and still whup him to the shot.

You have too much ammo, weapons and back up available in graw2. The levels are small. I still enjoyed it a lot but Hard on Graw2 doesnt even get as hard as easy on GRAW.

Maybe your right and I am just too good at GRAW :p

I did 4 more levels on Hard last night, quite liking it now.

Well I found GRAW 1 quite easy in hard mode. so I guess there will be no challenge in GRAW2 for me then

Bar the helicopter sections. I'm still on level 2, I stopped playing before I broke something.

It's a technique I should have used before PES6 met its maker.

The helicopter bits on the first one I'm finding rather random, you seem to keep having to retry until you don't die, I didn't do anything different when I finally passed the level either.

Even managed to get the end of level achievement and then die

Yeah the helicopter parts where just too unfair on the first GRAW, especially in hard mode.
GRAW2 in hard mode is about as hard as GRAW in normal mode. Add to that the story is at most 2/3's the length it is a short single player game with no real replayability. GRAW i done once normal one hard, and hard took quite a while, but GRAW2 i done straight through on hard without many issues.
