I have recently moved into a house, sharing it with 4 other guys and so we set up a wireless network to connect to the internet. However, since setting it up, one of the guys has a virus or piece of 'grayware' software which is causing havoc with my PC. Everytime he turns on his PC, my PC will go crazy, with windows moving randomly around, the start bar moving randomly around and usually I'll just have to sit there until it sorts itself out (if it does).
Does this sound like grayware to you? To sort the problem out I did an online antivirus scan and that found and deleted some 'grayware' file. I then purchased and installed bit defender. However, bit defender hasn't seemed to have stopped the problem. Does anyone know how/if I can use the bit defender firewall to prevent any traffic from this guys PC going to mine?? As in blocking his ip?
I have no shared folders enabled.
Cheers for any help
