The cornerstone of British food, even the French enjoy it when they cross the water to visit our beautiful country. So, how do you eat yours?

Most George and Berties, and Greasy Lils truck stop on the A5 in Cannock :D

  • Bacon, Egg, Mushrooms, Fried bread, beans, Sausage :D

Home-made greasy breakfasts > *.
Sausage, fried egg, bacon, beans, fried bread.
Brown sauce.
Tea, 3 sugars and plenty o' milk.

the scottish bit is rank! except for a tiny bit of black pudding!

Bacon, Egg, Sausage, Tomato, Mushrooms with tea and toast - Saturday morning treat :D

p.s I love fruit and square sausage, black pudding and faggots. Gotta love that offal.

2 eggs
4 toasts

big mug of coffee

Home made Greasy spoon breakfast

  • 2-3 Rashers of thick smoked Bacon
  • 2 Two thik pork Sausages
  • Scrambled Eggs with a small amount of grated cheese
  • Beans
  • Grilled Tomatoes
  • 1 Home made Hash Brown
  • Sauted Mushrooms
  • 2 Rounds of Thick Brown toast
  • 1 Extra Large mug of Filter Coffee (Black)

Rule #1 All meat produce sourced from local butchers
Rule #2 Only have this one every 2-3 months.

If my Father in Law is home from Scotland then it's customary to substitute the Pork Sausage for Lorne Sausage.

When i used to live in north birmingham it was Greenholms Cafe.. Full Breakfast was:

Fried Bread
2 Fried Eggs
2 Bacon
2 Sausage
Beans
Chopped Tomatoes
Shrooms
Hash Brown (blech :( )
Bit of Brown Sauce

and of course, Large mug of Tea :D
 
Don't eat at Greasy Spoons anymore, the wife giving me earache about eating healthier. However, anyone in the Medway towns will know of a cafe called Piggys (opposite the carpark of Argos on the one way system)

Always used to order the "Whole Hog". Could never finish it. It included double of everything, egg, bacon, beans, hash browns, sausage, fried slice.....

Brown Sauce in Bacon Butty
Tomato Sauce in SAUSAGE Butty!
