Its not just sand, its Sand, Water, Salt, Oil.

You can burn the Oil with the fire tool, you can grow plants if you put it near water, green tool.

And ??? all hell breaks loose.

Also Pen Size makes the wall bigger, you can make the sand etc come out x times faster by clicking where it says Sand x1
