He was basically "happy" slapping someone in a party..who I didn't know. An argument ensued about leaving the guy alone at which time he backed down although when I was leaving the house he just came from the side and smashed a bottle across my forehead when I wasn't even looking in that direction and so the fight began. I'm left with a scar although it could have been my eye so I'm lucky. Between that and then running back to base when the Police tried to question him and 2 other members of the same troop giving evidence against me who weren't even there... I can't say I'm overly impressed by the "values" of the forces at the moment.

Edit. No offence intended to those in the Forces who are nothing like this. I guess I'm just quite angry about it all still.

Got my degree, Got a job and managed to stuff a good chunk of my wages into saving for a masters degree course, Celebrated (nearly) a year with my girlfriend!

Gonna be good!

Top achievements for me this year would be the following (in no order):

  • Promotion at work
  • Getting Engaged
  • Securing permanent residency to Canada
It’s been a good year, next year will be even better.
