I vote for the Q6600.
Ive had mine since early 2008 and still have no need to upgrade. its an absolute power house and work horse, clocked to 3ghz on air with ease on stock volts. am sure it will do much more but I simply have no need. Quite remarkable given it was the first generation of quad core.
surely one of, if not the best CPU ever made in terms of power and longevity ?
IBM compatable CPUS`s ONLY none of that risc / Motorola / ARM nonsense.
