Mixmag have got a vote going with a rather large shortlist - http://www.greatestdancetrack.com/ *Please note that you have to log in through FB to access it*

Now as for where my vote would go is anyone's guess. There is a lot of good stuff on there, especially nineties rave / DnB / house stuff.

I am veering towards Baby D - Let Me Be Your Fantasy at the moment, purely because of how much of a classic it is. The problem is I am going through them all and I keep changing my mind.

Question is, has anything not made in the nineties got a hope in hell of winning it? What is you choice?

I remember I was at the opening of Es Paradis in 2001 and it was rammed to the rafters. Don't know the DJ but he started his set at 4am and from 4am exactly till 4:03 there was no music at all. Every light was on full and it was just a bright indoors situation. Everyone was talking and whistling for some tunes everyone could hear everyone else. Then ALL the lights went out and all that was heard was the bit of the 3 in 1 mix that plays the reverse bit before the massive tune starts after the 3 hour intro :p (which is the best ever) EVERYONE cheered and he started to play the song from the start. Best experience I have ever had in a club regarding ONE SINGLE song.

Sounds pretty epic to be fair, in all my time of going to events etc i've not been to ibiza once.. Been to clubs in Berlin, Frankfurt, Vancouver and all around the uk though.. You still go or getting a bit old for it all now?!

2001 was the last time I went. '98 and '99 before that. All epic holidays. I would love to go again but to a quieter part and just head off to the clubs and bars at my own leisure. I'm 37 next month so I would say I'm a little too old to mingle with the teens and 20 some-things getting wrecked on cheap drinks and probably drugs... great place to go though.

I would go to the clubs but I would doubt I would grace the dancefloor with my presence now. After a few drink possibly :p

Ah, i still go occasionally, usually once or twice a year. Motion in Bristols got some pretty good line ups and will be seeing Sven Vaeth / Seth Troxler on the 30th..
Id not worry about your age, theres a massive age variance at such events :D
