I think the thing that worries me so much is how many people are upset by the results. I'm amazed anyone cares that much to be honest.

Don't see how Link got so far, apart from the obvious (being a little piece of elf crap) he was born/created to do what he does. A hero should do his or her deeds off his or her own back.

All the Steam thing proved to me is that Valve are slightly more in touch with the gaming community than other companies. If Sony or Mircosoft wanted to send a message, they could have.

Sorry, I actualy enjoy zelda games, or at least Ocarina and the hand held ones, Oracle of Seasons and Link's Awakening, cracking stuff.

I'm the same I was even more suprised when Valve put out the battle cry over steam. As I said earier very laughable.

Mario - A plumber who jumps everywhere for hours, but doesn't have the plumbs himself to finally ask the princess on a date.

Freeman - I'm sure he's a great guy, but he would get owned by any other hardcore game character (both personality wise and physically)

Greatest game hero ever has to be Snake. Just think back all he's been through, from Shadow Moses to Outer Heaven. :cool:

Boringest game ever more like, never got into it.

I didn't think it was regarded anywhere near "the best game ever", according to gamerankings it's not even in the top 100...

The tournament doesn't make any sense anyway, even if it wasn't rigged all people were doing every round was voting for who was better than who, the initial pairings are very important.
