You can pick this up on steam (at least as of yesterday) for just over £5.

It's brutally hard, I died 3 times just a trying to survive. It doesn't make stuff obvious which I like.

I got it as my PUBG mates are playing it as some downtime.

I'm enjoying it, particularly for a fiver.

I completes the story with a friend, the game was brutal to begin with! A lot of trial and error.
Might have to reinstall it as it has received a lot of updates above I last played.

It is a very good game, nice to have a survival game with a story and ending.

Just to add to this, the VR version of Green Hell is really good and not a genre thats highly represented in VR

I tried it on PCVR and bounced off pretty hard. Navigation is realistic and very difficult.

Just checked and the VR version is indeed one of many games sat in my Steam library, yet to be installed. The top Steam review claims the game was abandoned in 2022, so it would be interesting to know whether it is worth playing now...

The game itself has had updates till Oct 2024. Not played it in VR so cannot say if there are issues, but I did not run into game breaking bugs (well lots of spiders) on playthrough. It is a 20-50 hour game with a story and ending, I did not feel a need to continue after story. Though will probably play it again.
They also have a new game coming out so would not expect more updates to a 5 year old game.
