Pointless Boxing Day matches on TV are pointless! Well the Wimbledon match is and so is the Stoke - Villa match. Uchhhh.
 
Exactly what I was thinking. Was looking forward to watching some football on telly but why do they have to show Stoke v Aston Villa :mad:

Could have shown Chelsea dominate Fulham, City dominate West Brom or United dominate Wigan!
 
Liverpool v Blackburn would probably be the most interesting game for Sky to have shown

Great news for us that Jones wasn't seriously injured against Fulham and I expect him to replace Giggs in midfield. Ferdinand and Young are ruled out though. I reckon we'll go with...

What a totally average set of games, and the televised ones are just bizarre - I'm all for showing the clubs outside the top 6 but on Boxing Day and the Christmas break they pick Stoke -v- Villa and a choice of Swansea -v- QPR or Spurs -v- Norwich :confused:

Anything less than 3 points for all of Man Utd, Arsenal, City, Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs will be an upset.
 
Desperately need a win today before playing Liverpool then ManU.

Got Tiote, Cabaye, Colo and Ba all fit just praying Williamson makes it in time so they can do the decent thing and put Perch out of his misery (preferably with a bullet :p)
 
Looking forward to the game at the Bridge this afternoon. Maybe Torres will give us a good Christmas present. :D
 
It's lucky I still have copious amounts of chocolate and beer or I'd be significantly more annoyed :p

Well, that, and the rugby tomorrow will hopefully more than make up for it.

they are. the worst game i've seen so far this year has been swansea v villa. i'll usually find some sort of highlight in any game and there was one in this, it was the final whistle!
 
Suarez to score a few as this may be his last game if the appeal doesn't occur, We should beat Blackburn i would say by lots of goals but all we do is hit the post :(

The 14 day time frame to appeal doesn't kick-in until Suarez/the club receive the written report from the QC. They've not received it and don't expect to receive it for a couple of weeks so Suarez is free to play for a fair few more games.

And we don't just hit the post, we miss penalties too :o :(

Ai but tbh id take Adam off pens at the moment and corners in the last game they were pretty much ruined at every attempt.

Kuyt should have stuck to doing them yes he might miss too but i doubt miss as many.

If thats case then hopefully we will still have Suarez for the carling cup games
 
Plenty of people calling for Carroll today but I'd rather see Bellamy, Suarez and Maxi as the front three with Henderson, Shelvey and Adams/Spearing behind them. Need to attack them with pace and on the floor rather than in the air.

Think people calling for Carroll cause he is getting no chances at the moment so kind of a waste, I personally agree with you Suarez/Maxi/Bellamy upfront.

But Maxi to me doesnt do well all the 90mins so KD would have to do a sub earlier and he doesnt, He tends to drift out of games more than others
