Opening Weekend Guys.

Lets have it.

First and last time I'm doing this for the record, but I had to celebrate Leeds' first fixture somehow.

I fully expect us to be 3-0 down after 30 mins, get a harsh lesson in PL football and us to enter the transfer market to bolster the squad.

HOPEFULLY, we can produce good performance and keep it respectable, no way are we going to get any points from the game.

If Watford can keep their players and get them fit, I think they’ll walk the Championship

They were pretty crap tonight. If you look at all their injured players I’d say the majority will have left. Deeney, Capoue, Sarr, Welbeck, Hughes, Pereyra, Deulofeu etc etc.

They’ll be up there for sure. Pedro did look really good indeed.

He's been the opposite of good, every corner he's all over the place, two huge mistakes and in general looked completely out of his depth.

First game granted but as far as debuts go it's one of the worst I've seen for a long time.

Think you are watching a different game, literally how could he have done anything in all three situations?

The score line flatters them is what im saying. I thought they played ok but they werent as good as people are making out.

There are a number of reasons why our performance was better than ‘ok’. People probably can appreciate the makeshift defensive pairing, inexperienced keeper, vs your strongest lineup, our first game in the PL, away to the Champions, scoring 3, more possession etc.

I’m sure there are as many reasons why Liverpool were poor but credit where credit is due. We were really good and proud of what I saw.
