Well Taylor almost got the result he wanted, shame Southampton couldn't win it for him. Great to see a ref trying to fix a game. Fully expect 0 repercussions as usual though.

Does that mean we don't have to keep hearing about United's quadruple now?

Treble is still on. The Liverpool one they claimed in 2001 anyway :p

I think the fact we have Eriksen missing for 3+ months of the season and now Casemiro will have missed 6-7 league games is telling enough that we can still perform at a decent level. We have been incredibly unlucky in that respect. Imagine where Arsenal would be now if they had the same with Partey and Odegaard just to put it into perspective?

Midfield is everything. Look what happened in 97/98 when Roy Keane was injured.

Nothing unlucky about it. We'll have missed Casemiro for 8 games this season (including this one) due to ref/var incompetence. We've seen 3/4 incidents the same or worse than Casemiro's first red since then and not even a yellow given. Similarly we'll see more challenges (hell there was one by KWP later in the game!) and that didn't even get a card. We're being punished by corruption or incompetence, pure and simple.

We've lost arguably our best player for months and Partey has been injured quite a bit too (just under a month). We've been playing with Nketiah up top!! We've definitely not been lucky with injuries.

There is no incompetence from referees around Casemiro’s red today. Go watch how he jumps in with both feet off the ground, studs first and tell me it’s not a reckless tackle.

He only has himself to blame.

So why wasn't KWP's scissor tackle on Garnacho a card then? That was far more reckless and actually injured the player. It wasn't even a yellow let alone a red!

Casemiro one is a clear red, just shocking from the ref not giving it straight the way.

Not seen the KWP one, doesn't seem to be on any social media so can't be that bad.

We lost our number 9 at the beginning of the season and our second has only played 9 league games this season due to injury. We are playing up front with a Burnley loan.

To be fair though you got Weghurst in knowing you were short. That's on you. He was never good enough. Anyway my point still stands, we have not been lucky with injuries.
