Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [12th - 17th March 2022]

Arsenal have been having 1 game a week for the past 6 months. Liverpool are battling on three different fronts. It is very naive to think Arsenal have improved massively. Once they get back into Europe and the games will be coming thick and fast the chickens will come home to roost.
Table doesnt lie, we are something like 15 points better at this stage of the season vs last season.

Come on give Arsenal some credit? We are still very behind the standards of city and pool in terms of consistency and squad depth/ability.

I mean for christ you had salah and famininho in the bench and we had nkiteh...

Worst we been in ages.

9 point gap no injuries and a nice long break best way to look at it.
Admittedly I didn't watch all the game but from what I saw Newcastle weren't trying all that hard, not sure if they feel they've done enough now but they didn't seem to have the 'scrap' in them last night

4 games in 12 days. 3 away from home. The team just looked fatigued in the second half.

Maxi trained twice in 4 weeks.

The break should do us good.

That's fair enough, the higher you climb the more games you play the bigger squad you need.

I think that should be enough for a springboard for Everton now as I can only really see Burnley picking up enough points to survive, Leeds need to keep going but having started to get players back from injury could mean they start showing some promising performances
