Maybe so but their football has been better than that. With a club like Palace at the bottom end of the table, particularly after years of Roy Hodgson, it's not easy to play decent football and be competitive. They don't have the quality at both ends of the pitch that bigger, richer sides have and that will cost them from time to time (as it did Brighton so often last season) but if they keep playing like this then the results will come.
