Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [17th - 22nd June 2020]

Does Fabinho get into our best midfield, at least against lesser clubs? Obviously we need him against top sides, but against teams which sit in I'd rather see Naby, Hendo, Gini

Bit of a meh game. We were lacking any sharpness in attack and came up against an Everton side that put 9 men behind the ball - it was always going to be a grind. In hindsight it might have been better to start with Ox and Gini and then bring Keita and Minamino on in the second half.

Worst Merseyside derby ever :(

I hope the fans can come back for next season.

I was dissapointed how flat Liverpool looked, normally I'm expecting them to score two in the 88th minute even if they are two down. They have been so relentless this year you just can never rule them out until the final whistle. Yesterday they looked the most tired after 70 minutes. More than most I guess they are so used to the crowd being the extra man. Football loses so much without the fans. Then again it might just be hard to get up for this when the job is already done in your head and you are going through the motions.

I almost look forward to that as much as I do watching my own team play. The delusion that they think they should be challenging for titles is amazing. Arsenal are basically an Everton now.
an expensive everton at that.

Paying players more wages then liverpool and city. Selling match day tickets higher then any other club in the world, playing in a world class stadiun that deserves an actual top team to be in, not a medicore team like arsenal.

Arsenal deserve to be playing at the hackney marshes as there own ground and even then, some of the teams i have seen played there would give Arsenal a run for there money.

We are back to the pre bruc rioch days/last days of george graham days where arsenal were a mid table average side.

At least then we had a mid table type of stadium and nowhere near paying the likes of steve bold, lee dixon etc massive amount of salary.

WE are a complete laughing stock of a club thanks to Kronke and wenger..

RIP Arsenal

For all the talk of how people aren't enjoying the football, City - Arsenal was the most viewed non Liverpool or Utd game in PL history, Bournemouth - Palace then broke the record for the most watched game in PL history and that was then smashed by the Everton - Liverpool game.

It’s hardly surprising, all the pubs are shut!
