Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [17th - 22nd June 2020]

Not surprising there's so many injuries already: in the German league it went from an average 0.27 per game pre-lockdown to 0.88 after the first game back, and obviously only one team in this game is having to strain and stretch in defence.

Yeah, if Sheff Utd miss out on the Champions League by a couple of points (still unlikely but very possible) then the club and fans get a hearty "sorry"! I'm sure that will make it all OK!

Or for that matter, if Villa stay up by a point, the team who goes down can feel very aggrieved!
Tech again showing its not always the best way forward.

Anyway city v arsenal is abit meh so far, usual arsenal having injuries. Clear no one really has any match fitness or sharpness in general

What would you like them to do out of interest? Apart from turning back time?

Again it doesn’t seem to be tech but rather the human element was at fault.

What is Hawkeye's GLT failure/error rate compared to referee judgement?

I suspect it's still vastly vastly more accurate and a significant improvement, even if it has made an error here.

What do you propose is a better way forward if this is not the best way?
