He isn't even doing that when going so deep though so it's pointless he isn't creating the links like he used to

This just isnt the time to be stubborn and say I'm going to wait for Bellingham, we'll look like idiots if the season carries on like this in midfield and then we fail to get Bellingham anyway next summer. Besides which, realistically we need a replacement for both Henderson and Milner, so we need more than just Bellingham anyway, so get one in now
 
Fernandes still not looking like he knows what he's doing out there. Malacia has been pretty good so far. Brave to throw him into this game but he looks ready.

We've got Elliot whose pushed wide a little behind Salah in an attempt to overload the right, Trent then slots in to midfield to make up for Elliot. This leaves acres of space in the rb area for us, the issue we're having at the moment is that hendo/milner dont have legs to cover Trent anymore and we're struggling to feed either Salah or Elliot - we need a more dynamic mf than either hendo or milner
 
We're getting penned in a bit at the moment. Bruno trying to do things he isn't good at and McTominay showing his lack of quality when under pressure.

I agree. But we've nobody in that mould available. Carvalho looks great but is too offensively minded for this match. That's why I think we should move Trent into midfield this match. He can be that dynamism and play where he wants without leaving gaping holes behind him.
