Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [19th - 22nd August 2022]

100% should be a forfeit with a 3 or 5 goal loss (can't remember what a forfeit has been traditionally), if Man Utd cannot once again create a secure environment for a match to take place they should be punished harshly, it seems harsh for the rest of the well-behaved fans but as always you have to punish the majority for the actions of the minority (although I do think the majority of the fan base want the Glazers gone).
Perhaps if the fans actually got together and stopped buying tickets (both day and season) and left the stadium largely empty then the Glazers would have to sit up and take notice, unfortunately it seems they can't get together as FOMO seems to override the hatred for the Glazers.

Has been an entertaining first twenty minutes at Elland Rd., end to end stuff.

Honestly the league hasn't looked this strong for a long long time. Whilst City might run away with it I cannot see any dead cert relegation team bar maybe Everton. I thought the Saints were a dead cert yet they come out with a win!

Relatively easy first half for Brighton. Not sure what West Ham are doing, so slow at closing us down playing from the back, giving us far too much time on the ball.

Interesting stat, Chelsea have never won a game in the PL after being two goals down at half-time.
