I wouldn't have a single issue with him if he at least tried to get back in to position or tried to block crosses but he's not even attempting to defend any more.

Not sure if his form and lack of England time has broken him or if he's carrying an injury and being forced to play/choosing to play but something's very wrong with him this season.

I feel Newcastle fans really are getting carried away now for a team that’s won 2 out of 8 games with the only victories coming against two promoted teams, one of whom looks about 1/100 to go straight back down.

Just remember that VAR blatantly robbed us of another 3wins/6 points. But yeah it’s great being able to look up the table for once.

This might be slightly blasphemous as I know that some Liverpool fans have a bit of a boner for Gomez but I dont really rate him, he really hasnt kicked on from his early potential and is 26 next year so really should be further along in his development by now. At this point, I dont see him as much of a better option than Trent. Fabinho is too crucial to our midfield to be putting him back there. I'm too old and too fat, so that only leaves Baz :)

I agree that I'm not sure about him at CB, but he's looked decent at RB. When he deputised for Trent there at the end of last season he was solid, quick, and put some decent balls in
 
So Klopp tells the world how hard done by Trent is only for him to continue being absolute pony. Same with VVD, I feared last year he would never be the same again. He was fine when Liverpool weren't too stretched, now though he really looks his age. I'd take what I could get for him and look for a replacement.

Other than that can all this Fraud watch stuff go on the ban list. Every week now when someone is playing it's the same rubbish.

If he continues the work started by Potter then I can only see our fortunes continuing, depends how much we get raided in the next window. Having said that, we lost Cucu and Bissouma and if anything we're looking better, I'd have not predicted that.

Just need to sort the flappy Sanchez mistakes out, he's decent but sometimes I wish he didn't try and catch/punch the ball :cry:
 
Good we have Rashford starting, he's the ace card in these games, usually scores some sort of dodgy deflected counter attack goal :o
