we haven't reached half way yet, I could be be wrong but half of 38 is 19 not 17

You can have the best attack in the world. If the rest of your shape is wrong and you can't transition the ball properly, it's irrelevant. The lack of a proper centre back, and two of our best midfielders playing out of position, is a massive problem going forward as well as back.

That was awful and quite possibly the most disjointed performance from us in 30 months. We've had a lot of possession but its been in spurts of 3-4 passes, we've not been able to sustain any sort of pressure and there's bee little to no movement off the ball to enable us to pin Southampton back.

Thanks for your input. I'll never be happy with Liverpool losing, particularly the way we're losing with absolutely no redeeming features in our play whatsoever.
