Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [1st - 4th Jan 2021]

Considering we have had less penalties in the league than Liverpool (5) and Leicester (8) there are a lot of people whinging about it on here.

And the Pogba penalty is either a very clear cut penalty if the other players leg clipped his and knocked it into his other leg or hes tripped himself up. Nothing "soft" about it.

It was so blatantly not a penalty which is the issue I guess. Same as the other game where they got one and Maguire was allowed to punch the ball in the box.

How is it relevant how many other clubs have had as to whether thats a penalty?

You've had 6 this season. Liverpool 5 and Leicester 10.

Shhh, you can't go using facts here, peoples tears and feelings trump everything.
His facts are wrong ;) That's Utd's 6th penalty in the League, more than Liverpool.

Everyone else saying it's soft tbh. Knew they'd get one, it isn't a man united game without one.
The second your player put his arm on Pogba the ref was likely to award a penalty if he went down. They're desperate to give them this season and it's got to the point of just allowing attackers to run at goal rather than try and tackle them.

Its relevant because all I see on here is people whinging about United getting penalties. Leicester have had considerably more and we have had a very similar amount to Liverpool.

And yet based on the comments on here you would think it was United 15 and everyone else 2 if you are lucky.

Fair enough, 1 more.

What was blatent about it? His left leg hit his right leg and if you have ever run in your life you will know you are going down when that happens. The question is whether it was self inflicted or the defenders leg that caused that. VAR didn't seem to think it was obvious that it wasn't the defenders.

27 pens since Ole's appointment. 7 more than any other team

That isnt the point people or the majority are making. We are question the decision to award this :

As a penalty. That is a shocking decision. They are running side by side, the Villa player hasnt come into his path or attempted a tackle and they clash legs. It is never ever a penalty.
