Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [1st - 5th April 2023]

Leeds I expect will drop from 14th to 19th after these games, it's a free hit though, our best defender and attacker are both injured from internationals. It's the next 3 home games we need them back and win 2 of the 3 to stand any chance of staying up.

Haaland missed man city training with the injury that made him withdrawer from norway squad, guess he wont be playing against pool?

It's amazing how many injured footballers pull out of international duty this time of year only to be fully fit the following Saturday. It truly is a marvel of modern medicine.

I would think that for meaningless pseudo friendlies, any players with niggles won't want to be risking a proper injury that would put them out for the rest of the domestic season.

Line up v Man City:
Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson, Fabinho, Henderson, Elliott, Jota, Salah, Gakpo.
Subs: Kelleher, Gomez, Milner, Firmino, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Tsimikas, Nunez, Arthur, Matip

It would be exactly the same the other way round though. Remember footballers aren't very bright.
Doesnt make it any less embarassing though, you're a 6ft tall, male athlete, who drops to the floor and curls up in the feotal position clawing at your face in agony as if punched full on by Tyson when someone lightly contacts the side of your face. Its embarassing, pitiful and pathetic, no matter which footballer does it.
