I mean I’m not TRMs biggest fan but isn’t this the same? “Sancho was brilliant at times” but nothing actually backing that up?


Granted I’m going off stats but he barely touched the ball and when he did he lost it 25% of the time. Didn’t create a chance, didn’t have a shot on or off target and won 50% of his ground duels.

If he was “brilliant at times” then when?

Sounds like a passenger to me.

Because it was a throwaway remark on my part. If someone wants to discuss it in more depth I am happy to do so but most stuff in these threads is one liners and hot takes. The issue is that when anyone picked up a discussion, TRM doesn't have anything to back up his views or any ability to understand why things happen or the implication of them on other aspects of the game. Its just "they are rubbish, we're rubbish, everything is rubbish". People want to know why.

He beat his man a number of times when there was little expectation of getting out of a tight spot, he should have had a penalty in the first half and was generally a bright spark down that side of the pitch. My expectations aren't exactly high for any of our players at the moment because we are so dysfunctional but he was always positive and managed to do some nice things on his own which is what you have to do in this United team because you damn well ain't getting any help from the rest of the players.
 
Howes a decent manager and Newcastle were not as bad as their league position suggested and they have bought a few decent players.

Lets be fair, you have to be dire to get relegated from the PL. Even a small amount of consistent quality is enough to be outside the bottom 3. What will be far more interesting is how they do next season and how much they spend in the summer.
 
meanwhile City are closing the GD gap at the top. Jesus has 4, whats the most goals scored by a single player in 1 prem game? he could easily get 5 or 6 today!

5 is what I can see, Shearer, Cole, Berbatov, Aguero, Defoe.

Is it still arshavin with 4? I still remember arsenal getting the draw from us just cause of him :/

If it is then he bags another and breaks record
