You expect them to play football? What and get buried inside of 15 minutes. What tactic do you expect them to do against the best side in the league and possibly europe. They either nick one and slug it out or get utterly buried. They don't have goalscorers to try and play football.

You can play a low block without essentially cheating, though

The Gordon dive and Richarlison spending most of the game on the deck have nothing to do with them playing football or not, for example
