In that situation what should he have done to avoid being absolutely cleaned out which is exactly what would have happened.
There isnt much he could have done about it, so it wasnt a stamp or a deliberate attempt to injure but it was still a foul and a foul which warranted a yellow card imo. You get those yellows sometimes which come more from bad timing of a tackle or accidental injuries, they're still yellows. I think if Fabinho watches that and is honest he would admit that it was a yellow. If an opposition player had done that to Bajectic I'd be shouting that it should be a card.

As opposed to the Wolves player being completely off the ground throwing himself into a challenge, which he loses by the way, because he mis controlled a ball?

As I say, if it happened to one of Liverpools players I would be wanting a yellow for it. Thus I have to apply that same want when it happens the other way round too. I'd be a hypocrite if I didnt so I have to look at it the same way to be fair.

A bit of a grind at times but a deserved win in the end. Dale Johnson will probably write something on twitter tomorrow but I believe the reason for disallowing the Nunez goal is because VAR can only look at the challenge by Jota and not the fact that he was fouled that caused him to fall into the Wolves defender.

So it's cause VAR is being used in yet another stupid way then yes?

VAR could be consistent and usefull if it wasn't bring used by a bunch of dumbasses
