Tbf he missed one, Salah ****** his second chance by trying to steal it.

Jota was great, it was an over all perfect team performance from us.
 
liverpool had to to work really hard for that result.

Lets be honest, no would play better than arsenal tonight at anfield in this season.

Liverpool will tear everyone a new one and that includes the likes of city and chelsea

Well done Liverpool, you deserved it, but don’t sit there and say we offered nothing, when we clearly battled harder and looked a lot more cohesive and determined than we have in the past when we’ve come to Anfield and bent over for you.

i did say time and time again he really hates arsenal it seems and always always has a dig on them
 
Potentially, we played a very different game to Leeds. They have a system they're drilled to use and it was effective against Liverpool to an extent (the actual goals were somewhat lucky). We're still very much a work in progress, if we tried to take the game to Liverpool like Leeds did we'd be slaughtered.
 
Every side except City should expect to be slaughtered if they go toe to toe with us. Not only will our front 3 kill any side that gives them space but we've got CB's and a keeper set-up to defend 1v1's or 2v2's as well, if not better than any other side in Europe. This is why we're so willing to play a high line and press high up the pitch - it allows us to dominate the game and pin sides back and if sides do beat our press then we'll back VVD & Gomez to defend those breaks and if teams get in behind us then we've got Alisson sweeping up anything within 50 yards of his goal. It's a calculated risk.

I mentioned it after the Leeds game when a few people got a bit carried away with Leeds' performance. Yes Leeds done well and we weren't at our best but despite that we still created far more and better chances to score than Leeds and this is why teams don't play that way vs us because even when we play poorly, we're still likely to win and if we're on it, we'll embarrass you.

Did you read my posts last night?


My posts on Arsenal being average are relatively recent and mainly started when you signed a load of players like Sokratis and Toreira and I said they were rubbish and werent moving Arsenal forwards.

I mean i wasnt wrong.

Tonight you played the team I support so expect me to have an opinion when instead of playing like Arsenal you play like Stoke.

Arsenal yet again did absolutely nothing last night. Even the goal wasnt their doing.
 
Arsenal tactics worked before, cant fault them for trying it again. They could have lost by a hatful of goals if they went toe to toe with Liverpool.
