Greenlizard0 PL & Championship Football Thread ** spoilers ** [25th Feb - 1st March 2022]

Question is no how long does Belsa have left

Yeah but manager X highly rates him and state how inspirational he is to their career. Doesn't mean he's a good manager at the highest level. One season wonder until found out, we see it often enough. Players were behind his absurd, over complicated training until the wheels fell off. Now he's not liked at all. The Bielsa myth. Can't adapt, anyone lese gets slaughtered for being so one dimensional.

Although to be fair why sack him? If they go down he's proved his worth at championship level and the right man to get them back up.

Think today will be the end, the players aren’t arsed playing for him anymore, although half of them are atrocious and don’t deserve to be playing for the club.
On a selfish note I hope you keep him, but if you do get rid I can see you winning at least 5-6 games between now and the end of the season, some of the players will be sick of his give 100% all the time attitude and when that’s taken away players will feel a breath of fresh air

I don't see Leeds going down, Everton are with Liverpool winning the league. Everton are unlikely to pick up points for a while now.

We should be 2-3 goals up already. Our finishing is such junk at the moment.

Hopefully he'll have the cajones to drop Fernandes also if his underwhelming form continues.

Fernandes is still creating a lot of chances and get on the end of a lot of chances. If he can start finishing a few more he will be massively valuable. We also don't have any better options there. Our biggest issue at the moment is finishing. Ronaldo is in the worst form of his career, Rashford is completely useless and has been for over a year, Cavani is perma-injured, Greenwood is never playing for the club again and Bruno is missing for fun as well.

Punished for not going down I guess

I assume there was no contact and it was just a weird stride he took to poke the ball away. No chance he stayed on his feet if there was contact.

Matic is a fantastic player in these sort of games. Shame hes about 4 years past his peak. Amazing midfielder in his prime. One of those that just glides around and knows where to move the ball and when. Unfortunately, now he gets found out against a press and energetic opposition.

I was just thinking matic looks like a boss here.

Give him 6 months off and for 45 minutes his legs can hold up vs Watford.
