So all these people moaning how Eddie is nowhere near as good as jesus need understand that no one is bar halland
I judge him on his entire career at Arsenal. Not bad as a poacher in the box but that's it.
I mean you're basically after someone who'll run the channels, work hard, and use the ball well. Off the top of my head, Ings and Watkins both fit that bill. Trossard has played in a slightly different position but is similar. Arguably Danny Welbeck is similar. I'm not saying that you should sign any of them or that they're the requisite quality (and Jesus is obviously better than them), but they're all a similar type of player to Jesus.
To me, it's the job of the scouting department to work out what Jesus does which is so important to how Arsenal have played, and to do their best to find players who can do something similar.

Also, jesus has struggled to score for months with arsenal. Eddie did it in less than 70min of football

The discussion isn't about how good Jesus is or who's better than him, it's about who can fit into his role while he's injured. Nketiah doesn't fit that requirement at all imo.
This is the point, they're completely different profiles of player. Nketiah is a classic penalty box poacher. Jesus spends most of his time out of the box.

He scored considerably more goals and wasn't completely ineffective outside of the box.

Well obviously, yes.
But this Arsenal team has had their best start to a season ever, playing a specific type of striker who has been a massive part of that success. Changing the type of striker requires changes elsewhere. If Nketiah isn't making the runs and doing the work that Jesus did, who else in the team has to change their game to accommodate that loss?
Therefore imo, Nketiah can't be the replacement for Jesus. You might as well replace Kante with Foden on the basis that they're both midfielders.
