He pulled in to the gap between the two, Matip doesn’t have eyes in the back of his head and Trent just didn’t react to the danger.

He pulled off Matip's shoulder. The worst that can be levelled against Trent there is that he may not have called it loudly enough.

A genuinely top class defender might have stepped in there, but we all know that Trent isn't that. But in that situation he was no worse than average

Thing is...his numbers are actually very good. He must ne a nightmare to play against.

Yep and all he needs to do is convert a few more chances than he is and his numbers will be up there with Haaland.

Suarez in his first season with us was similar look how that turned out goal machine and one of best strikers there was.

Also Nunez first season at his previous club was similar as in chances galore didn't finish as many as should have, second season scored plenty.
