ETH clearly cant motivate and set up the team against big teams away from home
Get out of here with your logic. We should sack him because the manager in fourth is only fifth in the away table. What a flop!Do we have to have this debate after every poor result Man Utd have, we've done OK this season, not great, but not bad.
It's a reasonably good first season for ETH considering the squad, injuries and amount of games we've had.
Put it this way - I'd be more upset if ETH was 3.5 years into the job and just threw away a healthy lead at the top of the table...

My understanding (might be ********) is that a lot of ‘scouting’ goes through Tony Blooms business, Star Lizard. It’s essentially a stat analysis haven.Jamie talks so much rubbish. Brighton can have only so many players poached before their luck runs out and they start getting bad buys.
Also do you think the big boys will not be tapping up the scouts that are finding all these players?
I'd agree. I think he's done well this season given what he inherited. Dealt with the Ronaldo situation which to be honest would have finished most managers, dealing with the most impatient and petulant fans in the league, made some great buys which were slated (especially on here) in Casemiro and Martinez in particular who have been superb every time I have seen them.Do we have to have this debate after every poor result Man Utd have, we've done OK this season, not great, but not bad.

That's one way to redirect the conversation in hereright if Arsenal and City lose all their remaining games and Newcastle wins theirs
We can win the league
I’m slightly off forgot they still have to play each other. That's one way to redirect the conversation in here

They need to draw that game and get hammered in the other games so our goal difference is better than City.
Brighton played some good stuff last night, and all season. I hope they manage to retain their players in the summer. I imagine it’s great to play with the freedom they’re allowed, it won’t be like that if they move to a better club I bet.
If you were them where would you go? The big clubs are a bit of a mess. Utd and Chelsea are usually two of the biggest buyers and they're both a bit wobbly atm in terms of wider structure etc. Spurs are being spursy. City don't look they need too much change in terms of squad and are facing a potential FFP slap down. Newcastle are on the up and might have funds, but would a Brighton player feel that is enough of a lure to take them there? Liverpool maybe? I'm not sure how their funds sit. They went reasonably big last year didn't they? Internationally perhaps something might happen there idk? Is anyone expressing interest in their players?Ditto - Be nice to see them hold tight as players, as a club and say let's go one more year and see what we can achieve. Mac Allister didn't give the impression of someone who was looking to leave, he had praise for those around him and freedom they have.
