Their fourth goal looked well offside.
Keeper that can't save anything and a right back that's usually in a different postcode. The amount of pressure on him is ridiculous, he knows he has to do two jobs by himself.Gomez worries me, always has. I don't think he's as good a CB as people make out, would rather see Matip in there when fit
I'm content with a drawI still don't believe what I'm seeing.
I've seen us **** up too many times in the past to relax though.
Sorry to be pedantic, but City conceded 5 last weekend.Panic is looking well placed now lol.
What a strange weekend, Man City concede 5, Utd concede 6 and Liverpool (so far) concede 4. Thats last seasons top 3, conceding 15 goals on the same day

I'm genuinely terrified at the prospect of Adrian in goal for another prolonged period. Yes others have been at fault too but he sets the tone for every thing and that mistake he made for the first goal he's made about half a dozen times since he joined - against Southampton and Atletico last season he was punished but there were a few more like that which he got away with. He thinks he's far better than he is on the ball.
People will talk about our defence but the midfield has been a bigger issue today. We play a high line and if you keep allowing good players to turn, run at your back 4 and have time to play through balls then you're going to get punished. We've been too sloppy in posession and when we've lost it we've not been in position to win it back.
clearly offside

Did he touch it though?
Did he touch it though?
If players are making mistakes then a high line will get exposed far more easily. Klopp should've reacted immediately when they had a chance to make it 3-1 but to do nothing and keep watching the same thing happen is just bad management.Adrian is nothing to do with how crap Gomez has been
I do think whilst we play a high line klopp surely has to adjust it sometimes and drop it back.
High line isn't the major issue here though as you said. The total lack of control in the middle and defence being useless tonight isn't helping
When you've got a keeper passing it to the opposition every other game it spreads uncertainty around the pitch. And you can complain about Gomez but how many times did Villa have clear breaks on us? We play a high line because we want to squeeze the opposition and to stop their attacks at source - the midfield haven't done that. Every time we've lost the ball we've ended up with Villa running straight at our back 4 with time to pick passes out.Adrian is nothing to do with how crap Gomez has been

Yes he does.he doesn’t have to.
