I thought it was the Toffees that were supposed to be the bitter ones. No excuses they pulled a performance I didn't think they had in them today.

No doubt the idiots will be out in full force for FSG out.

I know it's easy with hindsight but I really don't understand the one man midfield thing we tried today. I love Harvey Elliott but playing him + 2 has caused us so many problems already so to go in with Carvalho and then Firmino as one of the other 2 just seemed crazy. It's not just defensively that it leaves us so open and easy to break on but we're not able to sustain any pressure in attack either. I know Klopp commented pre-game that he wanted to keep Milner back to cover other positions but he should have started in midfield today - as he ended up doing anyway, Gomez was always on hand to switch to RB if needed.

This new automated var/offside system cannot come soon enough because there is no excuses for that Everton goal check taking as long as it did. From the naked eye you could see it was comfortably off and after a couple of minutes of fannying about the VAR lines showed it wasn't close too.

The state of that Var decision to rule that own goal off is ridiculous
That decision reminded me of a Liverpool Spurs game where we had a goal ruled out for handball in the build-up, when the handball was a result of a Spurs player man handling Firmino.
