Nobody ever expected us to challenge for the title, this is just another stick for the media to beat Ole with when it was never a target.

It was bad game and squad management.

When we are 2-0 up at half time or 3-2 up in the last 10 mins i don't expect us to drop points or play a 34 year old cavani for the duration despite being hurt and tired.

Nor do I expect us to throw on a 5th defender, it never works.

I also expect us to drop greenwood because we'll his input to this game was minimal in every way.

We are not capable for challenging yet but the improvements can be seen from last season. We are at that point where scoring goals isn't a problem. Two out of those three goals were extremely poor. Dea Gea always getting bullied in the air and scared to come out of his goal. If that was Neuer he would have cleaned up both the first and third goals. The first half was one of the most dominant displays I have seen it was just a shame to make those defensive mistakes in the second half. It is those that has cost us so much over the season. Everton, Sheffield United and Leicester. That's 7 points dropped right there when we was in control in all of them.

We need at least one top top class CB in the summer as a minimum. I don’t know how many sure things there are though, especially when it comes to the PL. Maguire should just be in the pool of CB we have available, he shouldn’t be first choice.

Spurs starting Kane against WBA. Sign that Mourinho fears for his job? He can’t be 100% and WBA aren’t in a rich vein of form so starting Kane makes little sense.

DDG makes some good saves but evens it out by his mistakes. Think it's time Henderson came into the fold

Guess the issue is if you think an underpar DDG is a similar quality to Henderson overall. DDG is on a really large contract so we can't get rid of him so I assume we are hoping he sorts out his issues.

We need a new defensive coach. I don't think anyone is specifically 'the problem' but we're conceding too many goals, especially from set pieces. I don't think the coaching is good enough.

I give us half a chance if Henderson starts in midfield but if it's Gini, Milner and Thiago we'll struggle. Gini and Milner looked knackered in the last game and did little to influence the game. We sorely miss Hendersons drive in midfield and this is a game we could easily get bullied in the centre. I'd start Phillips or Kabak alongside Fabinho if he's back as people expect/hope.

Least one of Kabak or Davies should start, least gets henderson or Fabinho back in the middle imo, i dont think it should matter that its City if thats Klopps thinking

Looking at the City team I think Pep will try and emulate the teams that have done well against us and play a bit deeper, pack the midfield and look for the ball over the top to Sterling.

Probably bite me in the ass but sterling is never that much of a worry he only finishes after missing least 5 chances
