I don't think we're going to get any consistency out of this squad.

The club have decided we'll just limp on until the summer, then get a new manager in place and hopefully make some signings etc.

My expectations going forward are very low indeed.

My expectations in defence are even lower.
 
Love the fitness Newcastle are now showing. Out ran Leeds and now Everton.

What a signing Trippier has been. Proving a lot of doubters wrong.

Also thought Targett was fantastic.
 
Gordon was persistently fouling all night, particular on Joelinton, some nasty ones too. Deserved that clout there from Shelvey.
Trippier was superb. Massive result that.

No one deserves to take a potential season ender like that. Thats a horrible tackle from a player thats got form for it.

Getaway man, Gordon was kicking people all night. That's Shelvey giving him some back. Wasn't even that bad, well below the knee.
 
How do you measure the size difference between a chance and a big chance? Is there ever a time when a chance is too big to be just a chance but is just too small to be a big chance? Chances are we'll never know!
